چکیده

Endophytic bacteria are known to influence vital activities of host plants. Endophytes can promote plant growth and provide a defense response against pathogens. The use endophytes in crop production has the potential reduce application fertilizer pesticide input thus improve sustainability production. In this study, we investigated effects seed inoculation with non-native endophytic bacteria, harvested from Brassica carinata, on oat (Avena sativa L.) root vigor assays greenhouse experiments. For assay experiments, seeds two different cultivars were treated 16 previously shown benefits multiple species. effect bacterial isolates was evaluated ten at fertilization levels. showed that isolates, including Bacillus licheniformis, Enterobacter kobei, B. halotolerans, cereus, aryabhattai, Lysinibacillus fusiformis, had positive seedling one cultivars. other cultivar, either no or negative growth. Greenhouse studies magnitude direction varied levels, strain, cultivar. However, identified more responsive than others for which resulted enhanced several traits under both reduced full nitrogen observed tested. Our results show inoculating shoot oats. Developing biofertilizers effective across species, cultivars, environmental conditions may be possible if selected their responsiveness growing environments. Overall, study indicates could considered development effectiveness

Mechanisms of oat (Avena sativa L.) acclimation to phosphate deficiency

Background Deficiency of available forms of phosphorus is common in most soils and causes reduction of crop plants growth and yield. Recently, model plants responses to phosphate (Pi) deficiency have been intensively studied. However, acclimation mechanisms of cereals like oat (Avena sativa L.), to low Pi stress remains not fully understood. Oat plants have been usually cultured on poor soils, ...

Plant growth promoting bacteria effects on growth, photosynthetic pigments and root nutrients uptake of Avena sativa L. under drought stress

Drought stress is one of the most important factors affecting plant growth. Plant growth under drought stress may be enhanced by the application of microbial inoculation including plant growth promoting rhizobacteria. This research was conducted as a factorial experiment in a completely randomized design. The first factor included the bio-fertilizer (A. vinelandii (A)), P. agglomerans+ P. ...
